Founder – Sarah Yukie Gingrich

Sarah Yukie Gingrich is an international life coach and yoga teacher based in Lancaster, PA. A teacher of teachers throughout the world and a leadership mentor in Palestine and Africa, her instruction offers both a powerful clarity of purpose as well as a fluid, creative inspiration. Sarah is a catalyst for growth, enabling her students to discover their authentic voices in the creation personal and professional leadership which builds cohesive community. Sarah is passionate about forging connections through wellness and sharing those benefits with diverse populations. Why yoga?

Our Facilitators

Create Karma is excited to bring together some of the country’s leading wellness professionals to give participants an unparalleled training experience. Each weekend session is led by a renowned instructor or expert who specializes in a unique area of leadership development, wellness, and/or community outreach.


Board of Directors

Kristin Troop creates a balance of play and work professionally in childcare, community outreach and yoga instruction.  2004 brought the opportunity to fulfill a goal of owning a childcare center and later building a center based on the needs of the community served.  A Board Member of the East Petersburg Day Events Committee and chairing several community events since 2012 including a 5K and Kids Fun Run has brought more family friendly events to her small town.  She currently coaches a GOTR team within her community and leads a weekly yoga class to benefit other local non-profits.  Create Karma has had a positive impact on her capacity to lead on several different platforms by participating in the CK LEAP program in 2016 and MEET programming 2018 to attain a 500 YT.  Kristin believes the presence of a daily yoga practice provides her the freedom to find joy in living life with her family in Lancaster County and contributions of a community advocate and entrepreneur.

Rachael Vieni Reinmiller is a small business owner in downtown Lancaster with Commonwealth On Queen and Commonwealth Kitchen & Cafe – a brunch restaurant and catering company focused on seasonal scratch cooking, sourcing locally, and hosting events. Opening the cafe in 2013, we hosted Pop Up Yoga classes with Sarah Yukie, after getting to know her and her passion, it was a natural fit with Rachael’s love of community and connection. After going through Asset’s “Social Enterprise Pitch” and helping Create Karma get started, Rachael has been on the team and board from Day 1 and is so proud to see how far the organization has come and how many people’s lives we have effected.

Rita Whitney is an artist and yoga instructor currently working for the Cultural Alliance of York County.  She has been teaching yoga since 2014, and is passionate about the leadership and and empowerment that Create Karma provides through their programming which has had profound influence on her career and home life since she started with Create Karma in 2017.  She currently also serves on the board for The Grotto Community Center, and Re-Source York.

Completing Create Karma’s LEAP program in 2016 launched Tony Hernandez in the restorative mindfulness practice he offers educators. As the founder of Reflective Wisdom, he supports school leaders and educators to fully contribute to the success of the colleagues and students they serve using their signature strengths.
